31 Duncan Street
New Brisbane office building required seamless mobile coverage for its high-profile tenants.
- DAS
- Indoor 5G
The challenge
With a gross building area of over 25,000 sqm across 12 levels, 31 Duncan Street required a DAS solution that could efficiently support multiple carriers while accommodating the architectural and environmental requirements of the build.
The project was further complicated by its execution during construction and fit-out phases, necessitating careful coordination with other trades and site operations.

The solution
A passive DAS SISO (single-input single-output) solution was selected as the most suitable approach, fully aligned with MCF2018 guidelines. This system included 120 passive antennas strategically deployed across all 12 floors, including below-ground levels, ensuring consistent carrier-approved coverage throughout the building.
Passive DAS solutions are the preferred choice for buildings of this scale due to their cost-effectiveness, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
