Overview
The Madison Coverage Antenna (MC-7310) is a wideband, indoor ceiling-mount antenna designed to distribute strong, consistent 4G/5G signal throughout a building. It’s an ideal “last-mile” component for in-building coverage systems, whether you’re deploying a DAS, a booster/repeater solution, or a hybrid architecture, delivering reliable indoor service in offices, healthcare, retail, warehouses, basements, plant rooms and more. With an omnidirectional radiation pattern, the MC-7310 helps blanket an area evenly, supporting predictable coverage outcomes when antennas are placed correctly as part of a professional RF design.
Built for modern networks, the MC-7310 supports a broad frequency range across key cellular bands: 698–806 MHz, 806–960 MHz, 1710–2700 MHz, and 3300–4000 MHz. This wideband capability allows one antenna platform to support multiple services and band combinations, helping to simplify installations and standardise parts across different site types. The antenna provides practical gain levels suited to indoor distribution, 2.0 dBi in the lower bands, rising to 5.0–5.5 dBi in the higher ranges, supporting efficient signal propagation while maintaining control over cell overlap and interference inside the venue.
Performance and signal quality are also supported through strong RF characteristics. The MC-7310 maintains a controlled VSWR across its operating ranges (down to ≤1.5 in the higher bands), helping reduce reflections and preserve usable signal delivered to the antenna. It also supports low intermodulation performance with PIM (3rd order) ≤ -140 dBc (2 × 20 W), which is important in multi-carrier environments where clean uplink performance and minimised self-generated interference matter. The antenna uses vertical polarisation, aligning with common in-building distribution strategies and simplifying design consistency across multi-antenna deployments.
Coverage shaping is straightforward. The antenna provides a 360° horizontal beamwidth for uniform in-room distribution, paired with a vertical beamwidth that tightens at higher frequencies. This behaviour can be leveraged in ceiling installations to manage footprint and reduce excessive spill into adjacent floors or zones, depending on placement, ceiling height, and building materials. The MC-7310 is rated for 50 W maximum input power with a 50 Ω impedance, making it suitable for typical indoor RF distribution levels and system architectures.
From an installation perspective, the MC-7310 is engineered to look clean and professional in public-facing spaces. It features a durable ABS UV-stabilised white radome (RAL 9003) and an aluminium reflector, with compact dimensions of Ø186 × 85 mm. A professional 4.3-10 female connector supports secure, modern RF terminations, and the antenna is specified for tough operating conditions from -40 to +65°C, providing confidence across a wide range of indoor environments and service riser conditions. Overall, the MC-7310 is a practical, wideband coverage antenna that helps deliver consistent in-building mobile performance with modern RF connectivity and installation-friendly design.
